So here are 4 different types of holidays I’d love to go on:
Road trip in a motorhome
I would LOVE to go on a road trip. The NC 500 is high on my list of places I want to go, although road tripping around another country would be incredible too. Owning a motorhome would be perfect for this sort of holiday because then you would have some small comforts at your disposal, as well as saving money on hotels all the time.
My boyfriend’s parents owned a motorhome for some time a little while ago. It was a LOVELY motorhome and my boyfriend and I slept in there once or twice, which was super cozy and comfortable. Unfortunately, they didn’t get to use it as much as they’d have liked though.
Skiing
This is one I’ve actually done – but a longggg time ago. It was a trip with the school; it wasn’t the whole school that went, it was only opened up to around 40 of us and it cost a BOMB. I’m so grateful to my parents (and my best friend’s parents at the time) who managed to get is onto that trip because it was amazing.
However I would love to go skiing again and have the freedom to explore without being stuck with a teacher, an instructor and with a strict timetable. Obviously they have to do that with school trips but it’d be lovely to go again without all the constraints.
A cruise
I’ve never been on a cruise and I’d absolutely LOVE to go. My boyfriend and his family went on a Norwegian cruise when he was younger and he said it was absolutely fantastic. I love the water and the sea; I would have no qualms about being on it for a week or two. In fact, I can imagine I would find it extremely relaxing.
I was set on a Disney cruise for a while, I even found the perfect one that I was hoping to do this year. But after doing a bit of research recently and watching some YouTube reviews of Disney cruises, I don’t think it’s for me. I’d much rather just go to Disneyland and then enjoy a different type of cruise.
River cruise holiday
Another one on the water and also one that I’ve done before twice but I would LOVE to get back on the river for another holiday soon. We’ve been to the Norfolk Broads twice, using the same company to book our boat with and it’s been wonderful both times. There is nothing more relaxing than the slow pace of life on the river.
